9. Detroit Tigers: Dakota Hudson, RHP, Mississippi State

Detroit loves power arms and is hoping Pint slides all the way to its pick at No. 9. But, if he doesn’t the Tigers could turn in numerous directions.

Hudson has developed into second best college pitcher in this year’s class after hardly being used in his first two seasons at Mississippi State. He also plays in the SEC and in the past the Tigers have favored players who play in that conference.
