Jordan named Freshman of the Week
- Updated: November 17, 2014
Milwaukee Panthers freshman guard Justin Jordan has been named the Horizon League Freshman of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon, after his outstanding performance in his first collegiate game against Auburn on Nov. 11.
Jordan saw 23 minutes of action against the Tigers as senior point guard Steve McWhorter was in foul trouble for the majority game. He took advantage of his opportunity, recording 11 points, three rebounds, three assists and a steal.
When Jordan was in the game the offense flowed extremely well, as he made great decisions with the basketball.
Jordan will look to continue his high level play in the Panthers regular season home opener against Minnesota-Crookston on Monday evening at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
