Packers vs. Bears: Preview and Prediction
- Updated: December 17, 2016
When: 1:00 p.m. EST Sunday
Where: Soldier Field – Chicago
TV: Fox
Series: Bears lead, 94-93-6
Line: Packers by 5 1/2
Weather: High in single digits, partly cloudy
With fringed temperatures expected, the Green Bay Packers will attempt to extend their winning streak to four games as they face the Chicago Bears on the road. Green Bay beat Chicago, 26-10, at Lambeau Field on Oct. 20 and with another win against its rival, the Packers will even the all-time series at 94-94-6.
The Packers should beat the Bears once again, due to their defense’s outstanding play of late and having MVP candidate Aaron Rodgers under center. But, the Packers need to establish the running game, especially with Rodgers not 100 percent due to a calf injury.
Although the Bears are 3-10 this season, they have a run-oriented offense, which should help their chances against the league’s hottest team.
Expect a close game, mainly due to the weather and Rodgers’ injury, but the Packers will continue their winning ways.
Prediction: Packers 24, Bears 13
